We just celebrated our five year anniversary a few weeks back. We had decided we would go to Rocky Point for the weekend a little bit after the actual date and have my mom come out and stay with the kids. I was actually pretty stressed to leave my kids at home with mom because #1 Robby was sick and #2 Madison learned how to climb out of her crib that same week. My mom handled it like a true champ and we are so grateful to have family so close that can take care of our kids from time to time! We had sooo much fun in Rocky Point! It was so relaxing and fun to be able to spend quality time together. We tried out a few new restaurants down there, watched TONS of Lost season 3, took a jog along the beach, went shopping, took in some sun on the beach, slept in, and basically were just plain old lazy.

Looks like fun! We celebrate five years in March. It's hard to believe we've only been friends that long. It seems like much longer. Hey about the party, we should be there. I put it on the calendar. We'll plan on 4:30. Let me know if it's different.
Oh my goodness..that looks like so, so much fun. (Sigh) I am in need of a cool alone vacation with my hubby. Seriously, I am jealous.
so much fun! wish i were in the warm sun right now. i also wish i could have been there for uncle roger's setting apart. we love and miss you guys too. i'm aching for some family right now. maybe it's time to get down there.
AwEsOmE! I am so happy for you guys that you were able to take a trip together. Trips alone with my hubby are my FAVORITE! Happy (late) Anniversary, guys!
Tiff ~ Thank you so much for inviting us to the party! I talked to Marc about it and we both thought it would be great fun... there is one downfall, though. All three kids are sick with a NASTY head / chest cold. It almost sounds like croup. (They sound like dogs and seals when they cough.) So, we think that we probably shouldn't bring our kids to the party and get the other kids sick. I feel bad, but would hate to get your kids sick. Wes has been sick for almost a week now. Anni for 4 days and Elisa for 2.
Anyway. Hope you like this long ramble and book of a post. Wish we could be there! Tell Robby Happy Birthday for us!!
